For everyone who has been at Grain for 5 years
- Get a 3-week (i.e. 21-calendar day) paid sabbatical to rest and recharge
- The sabbatical opportunity does not expire but can only be used once
- It can be split into more than one block with your manager’s agreement but should be taken in blocks of weeks (i.e. you cannot take just 3 days at a time)
- Give your manager a minimum of 3 months’ notice before utilising sabbatical leave
- No recent performance issues and not on a performance improvement plan
- Approval is subject to managerial discretion, taking into account business and operational needs
AND
- You get to go on a founder-led and organised trip to Japan
- Qualifying condition
- Must still be employed with Grain and has not given or be serving notice of resignation / termination
- For those who have been with Grain for 5 years over more than one continuous period (e.g. left then rejoined), eligibility will be considered on a case-by-case basis
